Catheterization simulator with male and female genital inserts

Professional training simulators realistically simulate and teach proper transurethral bladder catheterization for both men and women. The pelvic body is modular, allowing both male and female genital inserts to be used while strictly maintaining the unique anatomical position of each. The innovative bladder is designed to accommodate these different anatomies and provide an uninterrupted urethral path from the slit to the bladder neck. Both anatomical inserts are made from high-quality materials that closely mimic the look and feel of real human tissue while remaining strong and durable.
The shape of the bladder is specially designed to avoid unrealistic resistance in existing catheterization simulators. This helps prevent students from trying to "feel" the back of the bladder to correctly gauge insertion depth. The bladder also uses a new type of valve that prevents unnatural resistance when the catheter enters the bladder. The bladder is also transparent, allowing the student to see the position and depth of the catheter. This is great for training with foley catheters because the user can actually watch the balloon inflate and what position it is in. The bladder is easily connected to the fluid bag, which ensures a natural flow of artificial urine after successful catheterization.

The male genital insert features a replaceable foreskin with ultra-realistic mobility to practice withdrawal, grooming and other hygiene procedures. The model has the most realistic urethra of all catheterization simulators currently on the market. All four zones of the urethra
are depicted with appropriate anatomical shape and resistance during catheterization. A strap is also included which, when attached, will simulate a narrowing of the prostate due to BPH or prostate cancer. This module is designed to teach and show students exactly why using a larger or stiffer catheter is critical in a given situation.

The female genital insert is designed to separate the flexible labia so that the urethral cavity can be found. The opening of the female urethra is not immediately obvious and is very close to the open vaginal canal, which highlights the possibility of unsuccessful catheterization. The urethra provides realistic resistance and creates a realistic feel during catheter insertion.

This learning simulator is available with inserts for both sexes, or a male-only or female-only version. Inserts are also available individually so customers can easily change from a unisex model to a dual gender version.
